Natanz White / Bianco Natanz
Light Iranian hard stone from Natanz, traded as Natanz White and Bianco Natanz.
Natanz White is the light counterpart to Natanz Black, from the same region of Isfahan province, and is listed internationally as Bianco Natanz and White Natanz Granite.
It gives a white to light grey surface with a speckled, crystalline appearance rather than the veining of marble. That granular figure repeats consistently across pieces, which makes it straightforward for large paved areas and long runs of worktop where matching matters.
It is used for external paving, cladding, stair treads, worktops and memorial bases — positions where a light stone is wanted but marble would be too soft. As with the black material, the granite designation is a trade term; ask for the certificate of the batch where a petrographic classification is required. Supplied as raw blocks, slabs and cut-to-size.
