Honey / Yellow Onyx
Warm honey to amber onyx, the classic choice where backlighting should read as warm light.
Honey Onyx — also sold as Yellow Onyx — ranges from pale amber to a deep honey tone, usually with flowing rather than sharply layered banding. It is the warmest of the onyx colours and the one most often chosen when the backlit panel is meant to feel like a light source rather than a decorated surface.
The warm ground is forgiving of uneven illumination, which makes it more practical than green onyx for large backlit areas where LED placement cannot be perfectly regular.
Supplied as raw blocks and slabs. Colour depth varies noticeably between blocks, so specify whether you need pale or deep material and we will match the selection to that. Every block is photographed before dispatch.
