Marble

Marble

Iranian marble in cream, grey and black, supplied as raw blocks, slabs and cut-to-size for European processing.

Marble is a metamorphosed carbonate rock: limestone recrystallised under heat and pressure until the original grain is replaced by interlocking calcite crystals. That structure is what gives marble its polish and its veining.

Iran has been quarrying marble commercially for decades, and the material reaches Europe under trade names that do not always match the geological description. We keep the two apart on every product page — the trade name is what the market calls it, the classification is what the certificate says.

Our regular families are Dehbid Cream, Pietra Grey and black marble. All are available as raw blocks for your own sawing, as slabs, and as cut-to-size components. For any exterior or high-traffic application, ask for the test data of the specific quarry batch.
