Ocean Beige (Gohara / Gohareh)
Beige Iranian limestone from Khorramabad, Lorestan. Traded as Ocean Beige, Gohara and Gohareh — three names, one stone.
Ocean Beige is a fine, even beige limestone from the Khorramabad area of Lorestan province. The same material is listed in the German stone databases as Gohara, and also appears as Gohareh; all three names refer to the same quarry material, which is worth knowing when comparing offers.
The appearance is deliberately quiet: a uniform warm beige with minimal figure. That makes it one of the more forgiving natural stones to specify at scale, because adjacent pieces match closely and a large facade or floor reads as one surface.
